July 8, 2026

CANNES – The institutional participation of the European Multisport Club Association (EMCA) at the SIGAWomen Lounge concluded with exceptional success and a strong institutional footprint. The event was hosted at the iconic Roberto Cavalli atelier in Cannes during the month of March.

Representing Europe’s multisport clubs, EMCA actively contributed to this prestigious international initiative, which brought together top executives from the worlds of sport, business, media, and creative industries, spanning North and Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe.

On the first day of the event, the focus was placed on open networking and personal connection. The exclusive VIP Cocktail Party served as the perfect launchpad for participants to exchange ideas in a highly collaborative atmosphere, establishing the vital human relationships upon which long-term international partnerships and European projects are built.

The second day featured the core sessions and panel discussions, with EMCA actively participating in forums dedicated to women’s leadership, mentorship, and gender equity in sport. The discussions centered around the necessity for good governance reforms, the implementation of shared corporate integrity and transparency standards, and the digital transformation of organisations. Furthermore, the immense value of the SIGAWomen Global Mentorship Programme was highlighted as a catalyst for boosting confidence and advancing the next generation of female executives in the global sports industry.

EMCA’s presence in Cannes reaffirmed the Association’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the communication bridges that connect innovation with modern management strategy, actively contributing to the formation of a sustainable, inclusive, and transparent sporting environment both in Europe and globally.
